Traveling Steady Rest Concept
Travelling steady functionality consists of synchronizing and desynchronizing the movement of the Z axis of the turret with the movement of the steady which is driven by a servo motor. In other words, steady will “follow” the movement of the Z axis of the tool in every moment, keeping the distance between the tool and the steady constant.

• Option of a servo driven steady rest for long slender shaft work to achieve incredibly tight tolerances.
